Walker and Alice at the New International School, Tokyo

Here's some images of Walker and Alice's time at their Japanese school - New International School in Ikebukuro, Tokyo.  They each had two teachers - one speaking Japanese and one speaking English, and their classmates were a mix of Japanese, Chinese, Koreans, Europeans, and a few other places, including another American from Virginia.  They spent two months in the school, and made many friends, while learning a lot of Japanese.

At the end of the term, Walker and Alices's classes each had end of the year presentations / performances.

Walker made a video (with the help of his teacher and classmates) for his final project - entitled the "Oogles and Han Solo."  According to Walker, Oogles are little things in our daily lives that come to life when we don't notice - everything from fruit to cutlery.

Walker was the north star in the astromony and astrology presentation.

The final presentations for Alice's class were held mostly in a park - so it was fun for everyone.

At the Spring Carnival near the end of school, Alice participated in the cheerleading performance for girls in her class.
